Enhancing photos using AI

So I had a go at enhancing this photo using AI. The photo coloring was effective, but enhancing was a slightly wrong. I tired a few different online tools, but none could bring some of the detail back.

The most effective tool at brining detail back to the face was the myheritage.com website. See below.

The detail in facial features was returned with little change to the structure of the face. It's quite amazing that this AI technology can do that. The problem lies with the bringing detail back to the background and clothing. It sometimes does not do it correctly or interprets the background as the foreground.

I will explore the technology a bit more to see how I can combine the two enhancement AI tools.
